Our Board 2025
Each year we have a gathering of our board of directors and our current members. At the Annual General Meeting elections are held for board positions, the financial reports are presented and an overview of the Warwick Friendly Society is provided. We also host a guest speaker to talk about issues of concern to our community, to the cooperative movement or healthcare in Warwick.
Our Board consists of Chiara Farrell, Chris Bazley, Cate Sester, Paul Noye, Gary Hayes and Doug Cutmore.
Here is some brief details of our Board Members:
Chiara Farrell, Chair – A generational local who draws on a diverse business background. She has completed her AICD company directors course and contributes a best practice knowledge of enhancing member experience, supporting team development and growth of employees.
Chris Bazley, Deputy Chair – an experienced director with strong governance and financial background, AICD qualified. He enjoys seeing a successful business provide the best products and personal support to its customers and members. Community minded and always keen to listen to the needs of those he represents.
Paul Noye – an Accountant with over 30 years in financial services, including operating his own accountancy practice. With experience in management accounting, financial reporting, treasury management, taxation and strategic planning. He has a solid understanding of the importance local businesses have within the community.
Cate Sester – provides support and oversight drawing on 30 years’ experience as a community pharmacist. She is currently working within the pharmacy industry and has completed the AICD course. Cate is working to strengthen governance on the Board.
Gary Hayes – has successfully operated his own development consultancy business for over 40 years. He has served on a number of community organisation boards and committees. Gary brings a strong interest in economic development and project management.
Madonna McGahan – brings more than 40 years of experience across healthcare, government policy, health system governance and mission-based organisations. Madonna has held senior leadership roles and has extensive experience in governance, ethics, strategic planning and community-focused health services. Madonna is passionate about supporting organisations that improve health outcomes and strengthen regional communities.
